Lifestyle:

In the 1920s- 1930s the European settlers used Dairy Farms to collect their pocket money. The Europeans used boats and cars for transport since most bush and trees had been cleared to make roads. The European settlers removed bush and trees and made money from selling firewood, postes, rails, wheat, oats, hay, potatoes, butter and cheese for the market. The settlers used their Dairy Farms to export dairy products to different countries like Britain. They also exported other items like wool and meat. Houses in the 1920s-1930s are were very different to the houses we have now. The houses were made of native timber, wooden weatherboard and corrugated roofs.
